What Makes Earthia Color Different?
Ammonia Free
Traditional permanent hair colours use ammonia to open the hair cuticle and allow pigment to penetrate. Ammonia causes the harsh chemical smell most people associate with salon colouring — and contributes to scalp irritation, dryness, and long-term hair damage with repeated use. Earthia Color achieves the same permanent colour result without ammonia — meaning a more comfortable service experience and significantly less structural stress on your hair with every application.
No Added Resorcinol
Resorcinol is a common sensitising agent found in most conventional permanent hair colours. It is one of the primary ingredients responsible for scalp irritation, itching, and allergic reactions that many people experience during or after hair colouring. Earthia Color contains no added resorcinol — making it a meaningfully safer option for clients with reactive or sensitive scalps who have previously found hair colouring uncomfortable.
No Added PPD (Para-Phenylenediamine)
PPD is one of the most widely recognised allergens in hair colour chemistry — responsible for the majority of serious allergic reactions associated with conventional hair dye. For clients who have experienced sensitivity, redness, or reactions to hair colour in the past, PPD is typically the cause. Earthia Color uses no added PPD — significantly reducing allergic risk and making professional permanent colour a realistic and safer option for clients who had previously given up on salon colouring altogether.

At the heart of Earthia Color is the Nathue Complex — a blend of natural and fermented ingredients including hydrolyzed hemp seed extract, Chlorella vulgaris and lupinus albus protein ferment, and hydrolyzed rice protein.
